The London Carriage Works is a multi-award winning restaurant serving modern British dishes complemented by the use of local, fresh and seasonal produce.
The London Carriage Works acquired its name when during external renovation works the original company name became apparent in the stonework, after they found the original text, their hearts were set on the name.
The company was a coach and carriage builders and built around 1866 in a pervading fashion of the day, the Venetian palazzo. The restaurant’s sister is Hope Street hotel and is open to the public seven days a week, from breakfast to nightcaps, with lunch, afternoon tea, supper, dinner and cocktails in-between.
They also cater for in-house events from wedding suppers to meetings and corporate dining, as well Christmas day meals (that must be booked well in advance) and Valentine’s Day (booked even further in advance, probably before you even start dating someone).
Make no mistake, this is a very up-market restaurant with meals for 2 potentially costing well over £100. With that in mind, you are getting what you pay for, and when a restaurant and it’s has been on the receiving end of over 30 awards between them, it comes with the territory.
