If you're looking for an establishment that combines the buzz of a city centre bar with the friendly feel of a rural gastropub, then The Hub Alehouse and Kitchen is the place for you. ... Its close proximity to the city's shops and attractions makes The Hub popular with visitors enjoying all the delights that Liverpool has to offer.
The Hub Alehouse and Kitchen opened in February 2011 and is part of Liverpool’s own group of city centre eateries which form Bistro Qui? Ltd. Also in the company’s portfolio is Bistro Pierre in the Cavern Quarter, Bistro Jacques on Hardman St, Bistro Franc on Hanover St, Bistro Jacques in Shrewsbury, Button Street Smokehouse in Cavern Quarter, The Refinery on Hope Street & Chicha…Peruvian Street Kitchen on Bold Street.
Company directors and family members, Mark Friend and Stephen Slater entered the catering industry in London in the 90’s where they learnt their trade from the bottom upwards, carrying plates and scrubbing pans. Almost 13 years ago, they opened their first venture in their hometown, Bistro Pierre in The Cavern Quarter. The success of Bistro Pierre was soon followed up by the other three bistros, The Hub, Button Street Smokehouse, The Refinery and more recently Chicha…Peruvian Street Kitchen. Mark and Steve along with the management team of Bistro Qui? Ltd are planning to expand and open more venues in the near future. The company wants to continue “making good times taste great!”
