Almost Famous, with its bare grey walls broken up with graffiti art and ironic neon signs is, for all its coolness, surprisingly cosy.
Burgers and booze are the main selling points at Almost Famous and there’s so much choice of both. An array of cocktails range from the colourfully named Bitch Juice, Bombay Sapphire, Giffard Mure, elderflower, Limoncello, lemon, passionfruit, and tonic, to the Big F**k Off strawberry daiquiri as a sharer between 2 and 4 people at £25 certainly stamps some personality on the place.
Much like the cocktails, the burgers themselves are a mixture of the traditional patties with an idiosyncratic filling or two thrown in for comedy value.
Like the Filthiest Show In Town, with its cheese, chorizo, pepperoni, fried mozzarella, shoestring onion, parmesan, Mumma’s red sauce, and French’s mustard, or, Blame It On The Vodka with cheese, double pepperoni, bacon, bacon fries, wonder onions, jalapeno, red onion, pickle, and bacon ketchup.
Almost Famous also do Event Catering, Cocktail Masterclasses and Delivery, they’ll be eating it for you next!
