John Lennon's Home

National Trust - Mendips are giving you the chance to visit John Lennon's childhood home. The Grade II listed building is preserved by the National Trust.

Take a tour inside the childhood homes of the Beatles where you can walk in the footsteps of legends John Lennon and Paul McCartney.

With the National Trust, you can explore Mendips and 20 Forthlin Road, the homes they grew up in and where the Beatles originally formed. If you want to book a tour or find out more about how to get your ticket to ride, and get all your questions answered about taking a tour to see the Beatles' Childhood Homes.

This is the only tour that allows you to go inside so it's really rather special and unique experience; see inside the places where the Beatles met, composed and rehearsed many of their earliest music and lyrics.

You can stand where they stood, see the sights and hear the sounds that they would have heard, going on to inspire some of the greatest music ever made, and arguably the greatest band of the 20th Century.

You can also take home a memento, don't forget to pick up a souvenir inspired by these special places.

The tour isn’t too far from Penny Lane Wine Bar, so when it’s finished you could take a 10-15 minute walk and come across the road – or should I say, lane – that inspired one of their greatest songs.
