Berry & Rye is a prohibition era themed bar specialising in whiskey, blues, jazz and gin and still one of the best-kept secrets in Liverpool.
Situated on Berry Street, this exclusive bar offers so much more than delightful cocktails; it’s an experience. Stepping back in time, Berry & Rye is a place to get caught up in, all dark leather, exposed brick and rough wood ensure you won’t want to leave in a hurry.
Dimmed lighting, a broad whiskey assortment and flickering candles in vintage wine bottles give Berry and Rye a feeling of having stepped back in time to a 1930s Chicago speakeasy. Drinks are waiter service and depending on what night you go, you can sip your gin or whiskey while listening to the rounded sounds of Berry & Rye's resident pianist.
Two tips: if there isn’t a table for you, you’ll have to come back later, and there are no signs so keep an eye out for the blacked out shop front.
