Are you hating your Ex and looking for a way to spend your Valentine’s Day? We’ve found your Essential night out…

Ex’s are d****s – not all of them, mind you – but enough are that Constellations has sought to put on Burn Your Ex – a Valentines Disco that won’t turn soppy.

It’s simple, just bring along a photo of an ex-partner you’d like to forget and it will be burnt on the furnace during one of their burning ceremonies!

Tickets are £3.50 and you can buy them on Skiddle.  There’ll be live music, with DJ’s who’ll be playing appropriate breakup songs – think I WIll Survive, Shout Out To My Ex, FURB etc.. – and even the Edwardian furnace of which the venue gets its name will be available to throw the pictures into.

You’ll  also be given a free OVER IT shot if you’re one of the first 50 people to bring a photo to burn, so fish your old photos out of the bin, glue them back together and head down for some catharsis.

Camp and Furnace are no strangers to putting on a show – so you’ll be in safe hands.

Camp and Furnace have Summed it Up

“It sounds like we’re being a bit grumpy, but we’re all a bit fed up with the sugary-sweet side to Valentine’s, and thought it was the perfect opportunity for people to demonstrate that they were over a past relationship.

We’ve all cut an ex’s head out of photograph – wishing to forget them, so we’ve gone one step further by putting on a night that celebrates being ‘over it’ and getting on with your life.”

And don’t worry if the night does toss up a bit of bad emotion as they do have a confessional ‘burn booth’ so that you can reveal your hate stories to the resident priest

Alternatively, if you’re looking to get over your Ex by moving on to get over them – although we do think this way is better – then check out our Essential Guide for some inspiration or head over to our Facebook page for the latest offers
